Graduation Requirements
Please take a minute to review the following pdf file as it pertains to procedures and requirements for graduation.

To File the Application for Award of the Baccalaureate Degree:
Begin this process at least 30 days before the deadline. Turn the application into the CAD office no later than 10 days before the application deadline; preferably 30 days before the deadline.

Complete the Application for Baccalaureate Degree. Type or print it clearly or it will be returned to you.
In the area designated for the major program, list all courses required to complete your major program, except your prerequisite work. Do not list your prerequisite work on your Baccalaureate Degree Application. Do list work-in-progress, incomplete grades, RP and SP grades. Transfer courses that have been approved as part of your major should be listed showing the department, Number and Title as it appears on your transcript/grade report from the transfer school; international transfer courses should be listed as they appear on the official Advanced Standing Evaluation (ASE).
List all completed classes in the order they appear on the CAD Core and Concentration worksheet. List all work-in-progress (including major courses, INC, RP or SP grades, Extension and work-in-progress at other institutions) at the bottom of the form.
Bring the completed forms to the CAD office (SCI 394) along with a
current DARs and copy of your current SFSU transcripts . You will need
to leave the paperwork for Dr. Dahl, CAD Director, to review and
sign. Be prepared to leave your application for at least two weeks. It
will NOT be signed the same day you drop it off.
Once the application has been signed, you will be notified by the Edelman Institute office personnel (either phone or email). You may then come in and pick it up, take it to the Cashier's Office where you will pay the application fee ($40 for the first filing; $10.00 for reapplication; an additional $5.00 late fee)
After paying the fees, submit the completed application to the One Stop Student Services Center. Once submitted, the application may not be withdrawn.
