Position Description
The Administrative Assistant will
be responsible for providing a broad range of
administrative support to ensure the successful
functioning of SFFSN. The position will be jointly
supervised by the SFFSN Director and Training
Coordinator.
Responsibilities
-
Provide support for meetings,
including organization of documents, recording and
disseminating meeting notes, transcription, and
arranging meeting logistics.
-
Provide support for trainings,
including preparing training materials, arranging
logistics, managing registrations, and tabulating
evaluations.
-
Research and compile
information on promising and best practices on
various Family support topics, develop a lending
library of this information, and maintain a website
with links to information, resources, and external
training opportunities on these topics.
-
Assist with gathering information for and preparing
reports to funders.
-
Maintain financial records,
including invoicing, processing check requests, and
creating budget and expense reports.
-
Develop, organize, and
maintain information recording systems including
hard copy and computer files.
-
Develop and maintain
membership database, including mail and email
distribution lists.
-
Prepare and maintain
correspondence and other documents, including
respectfully handling confidential information.
-
Provide general office support
including copying, scheduling, and conducting
internet research.

Maintain organization website.
-
Participate in special
projects and tasks as they are assigned.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelors degree or relevant
work experience. A minimum of 2 years of experience
with administrative responsibilities.

Demonstrated
experience/interest in children, family, program
and/or policy issues.

Strong organizational skills
and ability to successfully complete administrative
tasks with efficiency and an attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal skills
– ability to work effectively with a wide range of
people and personalities with a positive attitude.

writing, and editing skills.

proficiency in navigating the Internet and using

The Director will work with the HRIIC Council and
Steering Committee to provide a forum for planning,
policy development and interagency coordination of
services. The Director will:

Manage and implement HRIIC activities, programs and

with community partners

Convene and facilitate meetings with key stakeholder

Qualifications:

mission of ensuring that all children with special needs

We are looking for a warm,
responsible, reliable, punctual, experienced part-time
childcare provider/nanny to look after our two girls who
are 3 and 5 yrs old in the afternoons beginning in
September.
Responsibilities will include:
- Picking up the girls from
their schools
- Preparing lunch/snacks,
occasional dinners
- Taking the girls to activities
- Light cleaning (i.e. keep
children's areas tidy, children's laundry etc.)
- Engaging the girls with play,
books, songs, art activities, trips to the
playground
We will need help approx. 23+ hours

Ideally we need someone from Monday -Friday; however, we

Program Description:
The Community Preschool, Grace Cathedral is being
founded primarily to provide tuition-free education

Job Description:
We are seeking an energetic, caring person to lead
Mini. The position is available now. This is a
full-time position that includes director and
teacher duties. The Director is responsible for the
day-to-day operation and management of the center,
including the hiring and management of staff,
maintaining full enrollment, and ensuring compliance
with state licensing regulations and the safety,
health and well being of the children. The Director
is also responsible for the implementation of RIE-consistent
curriculum and staff mentoring, training, scheduling
and reviews. Finally, Mini’s director spends a
portion of each day in a teaching role, interacting
with the children through direct caregiving.
Preferred Qualifications:
* At least three years’ experience working with
infants, toddlers and/or preschoolers, including
experience in leading, managing and motivating a
creative and highly skilled infant toddler program
team and managing an infant toddler center.
* Advanced degrees or certifications.
* CPR and First Aid certification.
* Excellent communication skills and a demonstrated
ability to understand and balance the needs of all
of the centers' primary clients: children, families,
and teachers.
* Significant knowledge of, or interest in learning,
the RIE approach.
The Director should hold or qualify for Site
Supervisor Permit or otherwise satisfy state
licensing requirements for a center director. The
Director must be able to safely lift 30 pounds from
floor to waist level 10 to 15 times per day, and
respond to a child’s needs 30 feet away within 30
seconds without endangering the director’s health.
