Child & Adolescent Development (CAD) Club's Student Recognition Ceremony

Event Details:

• Date: Sunday, May 18, 2025
• Doors Open: 10:30 AM
• Event Start Time: 11:00 AM
• Location: Student Life Events Center / Annex I, San Francisco State University (N State Dr., San Francisco, CA 94132)
• Description: The CAD Club's Student Recognition Ceremony is dedicated to honoring the achievements of graduating CAD students (Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and Summer 2025 graduates & candidates). The current programming is estimated to be about 1 hour. 
• Guest Tickets: 
  • All guests will be required to wear their wristbands to enter the venue (this includes young children). 
  • CAD graduates do not need to wear a wristband to enter the venue, but they are asked to wear their SFSU Regalia. There will be a check-in station at the front door for graduates.
  • Please keep your wristbands for the ceremony in a safe place – we are unable to replace any lost/destroyed wristbands.
  • Those who RSVP'd have received an email from cad@sfsu.edu with information on how many guest tickets they are approved to pick up and how to pick up their guest tickets. The last day to pick up guest tickets is Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 10 am to 1 pm.

• RSVP Deadline: April 9, 2025
• Late RSVP: Please email cad@sfsu.edu by May 15, 2025, if you would like to RSVP late. However, please note that guest tickets are not guaranteed for late RSVPs; you will be placed on a waitlist for guest tickets.

• Additional Guest Tickets: If you have already RSVP'd before but wish to request additional guest tickets, please email cad@sfsu.edu to get added to the waitlist.  

   

Notes:

• This event is optional and different from San Francisco State University's Commencement Event on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Oracle Park. 
• Order your Regalia (cap & gown) online before April 17, 2025. 
  • The Regalia Rental Assistance Program is offered to students who have no means of paying for regalia and would otherwise not be able to attend Commencement this year. It is a limited program, offering students the opportunity to rent their regalia at a discounted rate. To qualify for Regalia Rental Assistance, you will need to complete this Qualtrics form before April 15th. Please note that the regalia supply is limited, and the program will close before April 15 if the regalia supply runs out.
