Platas joins the Gates’ Science of Teaching Advisory Committee

Associate Professor of Child & Adolescent Development Linda M. Platas accepted an appointment by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to their Science of Teaching Advisory Committee. The advisory committee provides technical support and guidance for policy makers to determine the current need in low- and middle-income countries on foundational literacy and numeracy and advises on research priorities and methodologies.
