Carine Wynant
( She/Her/Hers )Carine was born and raised in the bay area. Carine is Pomo Indian located in Northern California and affiliated with Sherwood Valley Rancheria. Carine is on the Board of Directors for the American Indian Child Resource Center. She received her B.A in Liberal & Civic Studies in 2004 and an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction in 2016 for Saint Mary’s College of California. Carine is also a Program Specialist for the Early Education Department at SFUSD. Her husband works for the SFFD, they both love serving their community. Carine has spent the last few years researching the need to provide additional support to improve the educational experiences among Native American children.
