Child & Adolescent Development (CAD) Student Recognition Ceremony 2024

  Graduates and their guests may only attend one of the two event times.
  We have two groups/event times to accommodate the size of the venue and the number of graduates.

Description:

The Child & Adolescent Development (CAD) Student Recognition Ceremony is dedicated to honoring the achievements of CAD students. This event will be split into two groups to accommodate the size of the venue and the number of near or recent CAD graduates (Fall 2023, Spring 2024, & Summer 2024 graduates).

Tickets:

Prices:

• CAD Graduate Ticket = Free
• Guest Ticket = $6.00

Ticket Waves:

1. Now: up to 5 Guest Tickets
2. April 29^th @ 12:00 AM (PT): up to 8 Guest Tickets (if available)
3. May 6^th @ 12:00 AM (PT): up to 10 Guest Tickets (if available)

Steps:

1. Go to https://sfsugrad.universitytickets.com/
2. Login with your SF State credentials
3. Choose to “Get Tickets” for either the morning or afternoon Child & Adolescent Development (CAD) Ceremony event. We only have enough room for graduates and their guests to attend one event. Please be sure to select the correct event time, as tickets are non-refundable/non-exchangeable.
4. Ticket Options:
   
   1. Graduate: Select “1” for the Quantity
   2. Guest: Select the Quantity of guest tickets you wish to purchase (everyone attending, regardless of age, must have a ticket) 
   3. Click “Select Seats”
5. Checkout:
   1. All seats are General Admission
   2. Ticket Donation: you have the option to donate any of your unused tickets to other CAD graduates, please select the box if you wish to donate
   3. Review the “Purchase Policy”
   4. Review all information is correct and select “Checkout”

Call for Student Speakers:

Are you interested in giving a 1-3 minute speech during the ceremony? Submit a nomination by April 30^th.

Notes:

• McKenna Theatre requires that every person attending a ticketed event, regardless of age, must have a ticket
• If you aren't able to purchase tickets on https://sfsugrad.universitytickets.com/, please email cad@sfsu.edu to confirm you are on the approved list of graduates.
• This event is optional to attend and a separate event from the SF State Commencement on May 24, 2024 – CAD students who applied for graduation (Fall 2023, Spring 2024, or Summer 2024) are invited to both the SF State Commencement (May 24, 2024) and CAD Student Recognition Ceremony (May 18, 2024)
• Regalia Rental Fee Assistance Deadline is April 1^st
• The university recommends ordering your Regalia (Cap & Gown) Rentals by April 12^th
• There is a Grad Fair on April 9-10^th  from 10 am – 3 pm at the SF State Bookstore
• Only CAD students who applied for graduation (Fall 2023, Spring 2024, or Summer 2024) will be able to purchase guest tickets for this event; if you are planning to graduate in spring or summer 2024, apply for graduation as soon as possible
