Nanci Román Gonzalez( She/Her/Hers )
Nanci has over 15 years of experience in serving diverse students and families in various educational settings such as public and private k-12 schools, nonprofits and community organizations as well as postsecondary institutions. With a deep passion for being a student and family advocate, Nanci’s professional and scholarly work focuses on the challenges that students face in navigating the k-12 school system and the impact it has on their postsecondary goals and outcomes. In addition to being a lecturer in CAD, she is also a Head School Counselor in Oakland, CA.
