Platas and DREME Network Family Math Team provide early math learning resources to support families during COVID-19 crisis

Assistant Professor of Child & Adolescent Development Linda M. Platas and her colleagues on the Family Math Team of the Development and Research in Early Math Education (DREME) Network fast-tracked an At-Home Early Math Learning Kit for Families. The open-access free kits, available in English and Spanish, provide fun and easy activities to support learning at home for children birth to age 8. The activities require no special materials and can be folded into daily life — for example, a discussion about counting while setting the table for a meal.
