Early Childhood Development Minor

The Early Childhood Development minor is designed to provide undergraduates with a focused exposure to early childhood development, with an emphasis throughout on the promotion and advocacy of social justice through cultural awareness, sensitivity, and responsiveness across the ecological contexts of young children. This minor is recommended for students who are interested in obtaining a Child Development Permit, and/or teaching in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) classrooms in the future (read more for details on requirements).
